To this end, the Nursing Program aims to produce professional nurses
and health care providers who have:

1.  Gained sensitive awareness to the health needs of society as well as a
commitment to the alleviation of problems arising therefrom with
preferential option of responding to the health of the poor, sick,
underserved and marginalized Filipinos.

2.  Acquired the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude for the promotion
of health, prevention of illness, restoration of health and the alleviation
of human suffering;

3.  Developed critical, creative and reflective thinking in the practice of and
through the use of the health/nursing process, the utilization of research
findings and in the involvement of culture and arts program.
